Effective Date: November 15, 2025, (Note: Section 10 announced 12/15/25, going into effect 1/14/26)
This Card Custody & Redemption Policy (“Policy”) describes how physical trading cards referenced by certain QB Club NFTs (“Physical Cards”) are held, and how eligible holders may redeem them. This Policy forms part of the Platform Terms, including our Terms of Use, League Rules, Privacy Notice, and the Tokenized Player Card Disclosure (collectively, the “Platform Terms”). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Platform Terms.
By minting, purchasing, holding, transferring, or attempting to redeem a QB Club NFT, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy and the Platform Terms.
1) Scope & Eligibility
- Scope. Only NFTs that explicitly indicate an associated Physical Card are eligible for redemption. Not all NFTs are redeemable.
- Eligibility. Redemption may be limited by jurisdiction, age (18+), sanctions screening, KYC/AML checks, shipping feasibility, or program capacity.
- Void where prohibited. If redemption is not legal in your location, you may not redeem.

2) Custody, Title & Bailment
- Title. Unless and until redemption is completed, title to any Physical Card remains with The QB Club (or its designated custodian).
- Custody. Physical Cards may be vaulted by The QB Club or a third-party custody provider under commercially reasonable security, climate, and access controls.
- Bailment. Prior to redemption, your relationship to the Physical Card (if any) is custodial/bailment only; no sale or transfer of title occurs by virtue of holding the NFT.

3) Redemption Availability & Windows
- Career-Long Intent. It is our intent to keep every QB NFT alive and reward-eligible for the player’s entire NFL career. Redemption windows will open only after the player officially retires or is realistically no longer active in the NFL. Until then, you may freely trade the NFT on any open marketplace.
- Suspension. We may suspend, delay, or terminate redemption for security, operational, or compliance reasons.
- Announcements. Material changes are posted on the official site and Discord.
4) Redemption Process (High-Level Steps)
- Start request. Submit a redemption request via the official site portal (linked on the collection page).
- KYC/Screening. Complete any required KYC/AML/sanctions/geoblocking checks.
- Burn/Flag. You will be instructed to deliver the NFT to a QB Club wallet, or burn the NFT from your wallet. This step is irreversible.
- Fees & details. Pay shipping/insurance and applicable handling/processing fees; provide accurate delivery info.
- Shipment. We pack and ship the Physical Card to your provided address with tracking where available.

5) Costs, Taxes & Risk of Loss
- Fees. You are responsible for shipping, insurance, customs, duties, taxes, and any processing/handling fees quoted in the portal before you confirm.
- Risk of loss. Risk transfers to you upon carrier acceptance. File lost/damage claims with the carrier; we will support with documentation when feasible.
- Undeliverable. If a package is returned as undeliverable, we will contact you for re-shipment at your expense. If unclaimed after 30 days, we may consider the redemption abandoned and return the card to custody.
6) Post-Redemption Effects (Read Carefully)
- Utilities cease. All gameplay utilities, $QBC rewards, and league eligibility permanently end the second the NFT is burned or flagged.
- No replacement. Redemption is one-time and final; there is no re-mint or replacement NFT.
- Provenance. We may publish a redemption record (Tx hash, collection, token ID) for transparency.

7) Authenticity, Description & Grading
- Identification. We provide reasonable photos/identifiers to describe the Physical Card in metadata or on the collection page.
- No appraisal/guarantee. Unless expressly stated, we do not provide grading, appraisal, or market-value guarantees; third-party evaluations may differ.
- Card Condition Disclaimer: Physical cards are sourced directly from sealed packs/boxes, placed immediately into protective plastic holders, and transferred to secure vault storage. Cards are not professionally graded (e.g., PSA-rated). The QB Club does not inspect, alter, or guarantee card condition, centering, corners, edges, or surface quality beyond basic handling protection. Owners accept cards ‘as-is’ upon any future redemption.
8) Fraud, Errors & Safety
- Impersonation/Phishing. We will never ask for seed phrases or private keys. Use only official links listed on our site.
- Disputed ownership. We may pause redemption to investigate ownership or suspicious activity.
- Erroneous burns. Burns are irreversible; verify destination programs and instructions carefully.
9) Lost, Stolen, or Compromised NFTs
- We cannot reverse blockchain transactions. If your wallet is compromised, contact us immediately at support@theqbclub.com. We may flag affected tokens for internal tracking, but cannot restore on-chain ownership.
10) NFT Burning and Re-Issuance (active 1/14/26)
- Re-Issuance Rights: The QB Club reserves the right to re-issue an equivalent NFT (identical player, card attributes, and metadata) within 7 business days of verifying a burn. This applies at our sole discretion.
- Accidental Burns: If you believe your NFT was burned unintentionally, contact support@theqbclub.xyz immediately (ideally within 24 hours). Provide details such as the NFT ID, burn transaction hash, and proof of prior ownership. We will investigate promptly and, if verified, may re-issue the NFT or provide equivalent compensation (e.g., $QBC at current floor value).
- No Guarantees or Liability: Blockchain burns are permanent, and The QB Club is not liable for any loss of value, utilities, or rewards resulting from a burn. Collectors are solely responsible for wallet security and transaction verification.
11) Program Changes & Discontinuation
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue redemption programs for legal, operational, or fairness reasons. We will honor every fully-paid, KYC-cleared request submitted before the posted cutoff date. All others expire automatically.
12) Disputes, Governing Law & Contact
Disputes are handled as set out in the Terms of Use (e.g., arbitration/venue).
