A little late to the game on this week’s preview, as Justin Herbert already kicked things off with another stellar performance against the Vikings on Thursday night. His 31.28 points would’ve been enough to win in one of the first seven weeks of the season (Week 5), so we’ll see if it holds up through Sunday and Monday.
In the early games:
- Lamar Jackson looks likely to suit up against the Bears after missing time since Week 4 due to injury.
- Josh Allen returns from the Bills’ Week 7 bye as Buffalo takes on the surging Carolina Panthers, winners of three straight.
- Jalen Hurts and the strangely embattled 5-2 Eagles host the Giants. (And yes—Jaxson Dart will be a hot commodity once we release his NFT.)
In the late slate:
- Baker Mayfield and the Bucs travel to New Orleans to face the Saints. After a quiet game against Detroit last week, Baker will be looking to bounce back.
- Most eyes will be on Aaron Rodgers as he faces his former team, the Green Bay Packers—but it’s Jordan Love who remains one of The QB Club’s active quarterbacks this week.
And on Monday Night:
It’s another prime-time stage for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, hosting the Commanders. Mahomes has claimed victory in two of the four weeks The QB Club has been actively tracking, and he currently holds a commanding lead in the season totals. Kansas City won’t hit its bye until Week 10, so he’ll have a chance to extend that lead further.
