We’re down to two from 32. An AFC winner and an NFC winner has been crowned, and the big showdown is set. Patriots versus Seahawks – who will take home the Lombardi Trophy?
STAFFORD WINS BUT RAMS LOSE
Each of the playoff weeks displayed the same phenomenon. Namely, the weekly winner in fantasy points also happened to be on a losing team. Leave it to Matt Stafford to continue the trend. Both Stafford and Darnold threw 3 TDs and zero interceptions. Stafford’s yardage numbers barely eclipsed Darnold, and gave him the QB Club victory for the week.
DENVER DUD
Neither of the offenses showed up in Denver as the Patriots narrowly defeated the Broncos 10-7 in a defensive battle that saw snow and wind play a major factor in the second half.
Neither Drake Maye nor Jarrett Stidham have an active QB Club NFT, so they were not involved in the competition. It would not have mattered anyway. Fantasy-points wise, both QB’s put up a dud – Maye with no TDs and under 100 yards and Stidham with a TD, but two turnovers. Not exactly a QB Clinic in Denver, but the snow certainly played a factor.
DARNOLD BY DEFAULT?
The two QBs at the Super Bowl will be Sam Darnold and Drake Maye. Maye remains an inactive QB Club quarterback but is still listed For Sale at our Magic Eden marketplace. If no one purchases and activates the Maye NFT by game time, Darnold will win by default!
The Drake Maye #NFT is an incredible opportunity:
- Maye’s NFT is his tokenized rookie card, custodied by The QB Club
- Maye is one of two front-runners for MVP, a 5-share payout in $QBC
- Maye is one of just two QBs in the Super Bowl, giving him a near-50% chance to win the weekly $QBC prize, and a good shot at Super Bowl MVP (and more $QBC) should he win the Super Bowl MVP.
- Maye is only in his second year and has tremendous career-long potential. Many more $QBC-earning years ahead!
That being said, if we cannot find a buyer of Maye at his current listing price (0.122 SOL, or around $15 at current market price), we will accept the best offer made on the #NFT at the Magic Eden marketplace by Saturday at noon, the day before the big game.
If you’ve been along for this ride so far, wondering whether or not to participate in The QB Club, this is a great opportunity!
So, come make an offer!
