Season Zero 2026 is complete at The QB Club.
After a competitive simulation tournament featuring some of the top quarterbacks in our collection, Sam Darnold defeated Patrick Mahomes in the championship game to become the first-ever QB Club simulation champion. 🏆
It may have been a simulation season.
But make no mistake:
Season Zero counts.
Built on a Season of Real Competition
Before Season Zero began, QB Club NFTs were already tested in live conditions during our 2025–2026 NFL regular-season beta competition. That season helped establish how NFTs could activate, score, and participate inside a functioning league structure.
Season Zero followed as our first simulation-based tournament — not as a proof of concept, but as a way to continue supporting the community that helped launch the ecosystem.
In other words:
Season Zero wasn’t the beginning of competition at The QB Club.
It was the beginning of a new kind of competition.
Sam Darnold Takes the Title
Sound familiar? Sam Darnold’s run through the bracket wasn’t easy.
The field included some of the strongest quarterbacks in the collection, and the tournament produced several surprises along the way. In the end, Darnold took out Aaron Rodgers, Justin Herbert, and outlasted Patrick Mahomes to secure the first simulation-era title in QB Club history.
That result now becomes part of the permanent record of the league.
Future seasons will add new champions.
But there will only ever be one Season Zero winner.
Simulation Events Are One Way We Support Early Members
Season Zero was designed first and foremost as a way to reward the people who helped get The QB Club off the ground.
Simulation-based competitions give existing NFT holders opportunities to stay active between league expansions, participate in additional events, and earn recognition as the ecosystem grows.
More simulation-style giveaways and competitions are already on the horizon. 🎮
They’re one of the ways we plan to continue taking care of the early supporters who made QB Club possible in the first place.
Returning Quarterbacks to the Collection
As we move forward, several previously burned QB Club NFTs will be returning to circulation:
- Geno Smith
- Deshaun Watson
- Justin Fields
- Spencer Rattler
These additions strengthen the competitive depth of the league and expand participation opportunities for future seasons.
We are also exploring the possibility of minting a Malik Willis NFT. At the moment, that remains an open item while we evaluate available Donruss cards within the collection structure we maintain.
Stay tuned. 👀
The League Expands Next
Around the upcoming draft, we expect to launch:
League #2 — The RB Club
Followed shortly afterward by:
League #3 — The WR/TE Club
These Clubs will introduce new positions, new competitors, and new opportunities for participation across the QB Club ecosystem.
What started with quarterbacks is growing into something much larger.
Help Shape What Comes Next
The QB Club is still early.
That means the people already here have the greatest influence on where it goes next.
