Week 5 needed overtime to settle itself. The Bills beat the Rams 37 to 34 in Inglewood on Monday night, and by the time the extra period was done, two of our four crowns had survived and the other two changed hands in spectacular fashion.
QB Club: Jared Goff hangs on at 34.94

Sunday saw Joe Burrow emerge from the early games with an early, but precarious 32.60 points to take the early lead. But Jared Goff would emerge from the late games with 34.94 points, including a 1-yd TD run that sat him at the top of the board, with Monday night sending two challengers after it.
Matthew Stafford gave it the best shot anyone could have asked for: 383 yards and 3 touchdowns, no interceptions, good for 33.32. Close, but 1.62 points short.
Josh Allen took the other route, running wild for 121 yards and a score. But one passing touchdown against one interception kept his total at 32.50, and that was never going to be enough.
Nobody topped Goff from Thursday through Monday. The crown is his.
RB Club: Jahmyr Gibbs, and it was not close at 37.70

Another Lion emerged victorious this week. A familiar face on the leaderboard, Jahmyr Gibbs took control on Sunday and nobody got near him after that. Potential competitors might have included Jaylen Warren and Bucky Irving, but their NFTs still sit unowned in the marketplace. Maybe some free agent pick-ups are in order?
James Cook had the last word on Monday: 111 rushing yards, 2 touchdowns, and one catch, but a lost fumble cost him 2 points and left him at 22.80. A solid night in any other week, but just not enough to catch Gibbs, who has taken the title 3 out of the 5 weeks this season.
WR Club: Puka Nacua erupts for 37.70

George Pickens established an early lead on Thursday Night, despite the Cowboys’ loss to the Bucs. It held through Sunday at 28.00 pts. Then Puka Nacua happened.
Seventeen catches on 24 targets, 138 yards, a touchdown, and 9 rushing yards for good measure: 37.70. The third best weekly performance of the year is good enough to win Week 5.
TE Club: Brock Bowers holds at 23.00

Some newcomers added this week in the TE Club included Dalton Kincaid and Jake Ferguson. Each had an unceremonious welcome as Ferguson mishandled the final pass from Prescott to seal the game for the Bucs on Thursday. The other newcomer, Dalton Kincaid, had the stage on Monday night and the chance to take the crown. He managed one catch for 7 yards and a 2-point conversion: 3.70. A quiet night.
This didn’t sour the general competitiveness of the TE Club, however, as three participants (McBride, Bowers and last week’s winner LaPorta) finished within 3.2 pts of one another. It was Bowers’ 23.00 that would get the victory, his second in the last three weeks since returning from the injured list.
The final board, Week 5
QB: Jared Goff, 34.94
RB: Jahmyr Gibbs, 37.70
WR: Puka Nacua, 37.70
TE: Brock Bowers, 23.00
