Week 6 Recap: Mahomes Dominates, QB Club Expands Next Week

Another exciting week of football at The QB Club.

Thursday Night: Jalen Hurts opened with 22.62 points vs. the Giants – solid, but few expected it to hold.

Early Sunday: Justin Herbert inched ahead with 22.76 against the Dolphins, barely overtaking Hurts.

Late Window: In a bid for back-to-back wins, Baker Mayfield surged to 23.64 vs. the 49ers, putting pressure on the primetime matchups still to come.

Sunday Night Football: The resurgent Chiefs, steadied by their veteran leader, kept pushing to reclaim early-season relevance. Patrick Mahomes exploded for 37.48 points against the Lions, the third-highest total this season by a QB Club quarterback, and seized a commanding lead.

Monday Night Football: With one game left, Josh Allen still had a chance to shake up the leaderboard. But the Falcons stifled Buffalo’s offense, holding Allen to 19.4—not enough to catch Mahomes.

Result: Mahomes Wins Week 6

Mahomes notches his second victory in the first three weeks, and the Chiefs have now won three of their last four. A statement week all around.

Looking Ahead: Beta League Expansion

The competition is about to heat up. We’re planning to expand the beta league next week with a few new quarterbacks. Who’s on deck—Dak? Darnold? Bryce Young? Stay tuned for the official add list.
